OK, I was able to get Google set up to sync my contacts. And I was able to set up syncgcal for my calendar. It looks like you can only have one syncml profile automatically update. If I try to set a time for the calendar, it gives me an error message that their is another profile scheduled to sync automatically.

I will look around at other options for the calendar. The contacts sync was a big hurdle.

    Thanks momcat1

Do you suppose this same method would work with calender? Just change the database to Calendar?
No it doesn't work with Calendar. Google used mFe for that. Use the Syncgcal for that.

It doesn't require an app. The only it requires is that the phone has Microsoft Exchange support, which most Symbian phones do. I see you have an N86 and I've done this on an N85.

    It is a free setup.

It should push GMail into your phone as well.

If you got multiple phones, whether its Symbian, Windows Mobile, Apple iPhone including iPod Touch and iPad, Blackberry or Android, you can sync them all. Make one change in one device, like adding a contact, and minutes later, all the other devices will reflect that change as long as they are connected to the Internet. No PC software needed.
I just bought an E73, and I'm trying to set up my Google Apps account with Mail for Exchange. Nothing I do is working. It sets up properly. But I'm getting no emails syncing, no contacts (although I can do a remote search for my contacts in the Contacts app) and no calendars are syncing either.

Anyone have any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
