    MMS issue on LG thrive. Correct APNs

    Well the only thing that is giving me issues is mms on my LG thrive. I have both "home" and "mms" APNs entered correctly. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Sending seems to work more than receiving. It comes in and says download so I tap download and it either says downloading, then returns to the download button or it says unable to retrieve message at this time. Try again later. I have to put it in airplane mode to close data connections Ans turn it off for it to download. I read sometimes you need 2 APNs and some phones need the just 1.what's the deal with LG? Data services and all seem to work Juat fine.

    I'm having the same issue at times and get the same message. Anyone have any idea's?

    Try doing a single profile. That is what worker on my phone.

    I tried the single APN profile and mms wouldn't work at all. It seems to be working fine now but who knows

    I reread Renegade1994's thread and deleted the apn's and reentered a single apn. I send a pic and it went right through. Internet still works fine also. WIFI was disabled so I knew this wasn't allowing me to connect. I was getting the unable to download at this time message and another that said unable to send at this time, message will be sent when the service becomes available. I will give it a few days and post my results.

    Well I redid the apns to just the single like in the thread about apn And android again. I used home as the name and filled in the rest. Seems to be working just fine now.

    Yeah....this is why I posted both profiles....though the single APN appears to have the greatest chance for success. Maybe something to do with the software on the phone?

    So far I have not had the issue since using a single APN. This must be the way to go with the Thrive.
