I just got it working. There was an extra period under mmsc. Once that was changed, it worked

    Could you please elaborate.

Where exactly was this extra period placed in the MMSC section. It would be more helpful if you could post your entire MMS apn settings

My settings are teh exact same as in the first post of the Wind internet settings thread.

    MMS
    ---------------------------
    Name: Wind CA MMS
    APN: mms.windmobile.ca
    MMSC: http://mms.windmobile.ca
    MMS Proxy: 74.115.197.70
    MMS Port: 8080
    MCC: 302
    MNC: 490
    Type: mms

On Android phones, this can be configured in Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Menu > New APN. Be sure to select Menu > Save APN when done entering the above information.

The MMSC on mine was: http://mms.windmobile..ca

I took out the extra peroid and it now works fine.

There must be a blocking of non wind hardware happening on winds side. The MT4G I had would not send or receive mms either. Now the LG from I have has the same settings used on the HTC and it works flawlessly.

Not Wind. MMS works perfectly on mine.

Interesting, maybe this an android software issue.

Mine is stock T-Mo, well, with the exception of me entering an unlock code.

I have no idea if this is the solution... but try it? Major YMMV!

    Reset to default settings.
    Add internet.windmobile.ca as one APN
    Add a new APN
    Name: Wind CA MMS
    APN: mms.windmobile.ca
    MMSC: http://mms.windmobile.ca
    MMS Proxy: 74.115.197.70
    MMS Port: 8080
    MCC: 302
    MNC: 490
Type: DO NOT CHANGE THIS, LEAVE IT BLANK

Now you (should) see the little radio button so you can "activate" the APN. Activate the MMS one... internet still works, and MMS seems to work albeit slow at times. Also, I sent a MMS to my email address and I got it, but phone says unsuccessful.

EDIT: so for some reason, it'll load google.ca but nothing else works (guess it's cached). How to fix this...

EDIT2: So, I guess this works if I flip back and forth between APNs... but that's not practical. Perhaps there is some way to put this into one APN?

Finally got mms working by adding to apn's. The first apn internet.windmobile.ca. APN type should be default, suple.

The second apn should reflect the details from the above (previous) post.

This seems to have worked! Thanks instigator008

EDIT: no wait, it seems to have only worked for receiving MMS not sending them (at least I was able to receive one MMS, and all the MMSs I tried to send failed).

I don't know why changing the settings allowed me hit "download" on one MMS, but then I asked people to send me more MMS's and then nothing at all came through, not even the "download" option.

    Hate how complicated MMS is.
