Yup. They are run by the same parent Co, but they are separate entities.

It's really not that bad if you are a N10 unlimited user. $5 diff. It's a bigger issue with the $30 plan. ST's has greater value then N10's $25 plan.

N10's unlimited $50 everything plan changed N10's value a lot if anything.
Tracfone's phone versions are even cheaper still though...

Important difference in CDMA coverage between the two. Net10 the winner over ST.
But the LG900G is GSM, where there is no difference between the two companies.

    No.

Each phone only uses one or the other not both. A phone will either use GSM (model number will end in g) or CDMA (model number will end in c). None of the phones either company offers can be used on both networks.

The point tracfancier was making is that Net10 has roaming contracts on CDMA where as ST does not. Both companies have the same roaming contracts on GSM.

Net10 provides both CDMA and GSM service, depend on which model phone you buy.
None of their phones are capable of using both GSM & CDMA.

According to Net10's website, the model number is: LG900G

    http://www.walmart.com/search/search...h_constraint=0

Look at the part number in the ad and break it down. NT=(Net10) LG900G=(GSM) P4=(AT&T SIM) PSV=(must indicate the free items they have included)
