I have a new Moto Droid X2- about 4 days old and am starting to get some "stuff" for it. My phone is stock with nothing side loaded or any rooting on the system. This is my first droid after owning a BlackBerry for 2 years, so I am very new at this.

One app is saw was a task killer. I was looking at the reviews and a few said a task killer is not needed after android version 2.1.

Is there a consensus on this?

How about an application like "Super Manager" that cleans memory when the screen shuts off? Any value?

How do these affect battery life? I am using JuiceDefender to help battery life. Is this one decent?

Thanks for any advice!
