Take notice of what exactly? The price increase, the so-so Motorola Triumph or the ugly as hell BB Style (ironic name for that phone)?

I hate to be that guy, but what phone do you use? I just bought an m835 and let me tell you what, it is a pretty damn amzing little phone, who cares if its not 4g, at least I dont have to charge my battery 3 times a day. plus there is this nifty thing called WiFi, and guess what, chances are you can connect to a WiFi source right now that is faster than metros 4G data speeds, and it will use less battery. ever hear of : "good things come to those who wait?"

all of this OMG its not 4g, and the OMG why is it 4g crap needs to stop. you people need to realize, us here at Howard forums, make up less than 1% of what most metro subscribers want. hell, most of our subscribers still think we dont have 4g. so before metro releases anymore 4g phones, I hope to gods that they fix and spread the entire 4g calling area network wide. I would rather tell a customer to wait on getting 4g, then to have them come back and ***** and complain that they dont have 4g signal.

also since the article was about BB/RIM, there isnt a 4G RIM device, and by the looks of it, there wont be a RIM device, because it seems Blackberry is going to collapse by the end of the year. I hate to say it, but I had to say it.
Couldn't have said it better myself, very great analogy:

You had to have a new color TV to receive the wondrous color TV shows.

^ Agree 95% with the above. The 5% I don't agree with is BlackBerry collapsing by the end of the year...what makes you say that?

A lot of employees just left, and many more are planning on leaving. they all point to thier CEO as the resaons why they are slipping behind in numbers, because they keep releasing the same devices over and over again, but charging full price, when in reality the only change is the OS which can be updated on the phone for free. they even posted an open letter to thier CEO all the ceo did was laugh and kept on saying how the Playbook will revelutionize the tablet industry, even though its already flopped.

I think at worse case they'll replace the CEO, BlackBerry is too good of a device to be taken down only by a failing CEO. Lets hope the chairmen realize this sooner then later though.

I think vm is making a mistake raising their prices so to tell metro to take notice makes no sense. The only thing I think metro does wrong is not give you the option of $40 for their 1x, lesser android devices. The new m835 is the perfect example, it doesnt get fast web or data thats fine but I use my phone with the wifi anyway so I dont want to pay the extra $10 a month when I would barely use the slow data except maybe while driving with a gps app.

As for BB they need to do something because they are dying fast. Maybe BB should become like a nokia, lg, samsung etc. Just make phones and use different os like android. The BB OS is no longer needed and or valued as it once was. The Extra fees for a BB make it less desirable as well. With GV and other chat/IM services no one NEEDS to pay the extra just to get BBM service. They should make it available in an app for all.

All jokes aside can you give a quick review of the M835? I ripped on it but that was based off it being "a rebranded Ascend". It was the lag I couldn't stand on that device. Lag PLUS 1X? No bueno. Yeah man can you give a quick review?

I could have called that coming 3 years ago. They don't upgrade anything on their phones, and they leave features completely missing through numerous OS updates (can't text > 160 characters at once? WTF?)
