I also saw something where a guy used AutoCad to get the size of the screen since there was a pic of it next to a Charge and it came out to be 4.5".

The camera angle disproves the size comparison since it would be incredible hard to account for it. Whichever object is closest to the camera is going to appear bigger even though they may have identical dimensions.

GBH2 has a picture proving this in another forum.

I just left the Verizon store and compared the X2 and D3 screen to my OG Droid...seriously guys its not that bad, unless u hold the phone very close to ur face. Yes u can see pixelation a little bit, but when u hold the phone from a reasonable distance, its not noticeable. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't hold my phone up to my eyeballs.

I just did the exact same thing about 15 minutes ago since I passed a VZW store and have the opposite opinion reaffirmed. I am excited about the rest of Bionic, but the more I compare them side by side to my OG Droid and Droid2 the less I can accept them. The extra brightness is nifty, but does nothing for me and is ruined by the lack of smoothness to everything. I could probably excuse it almost if I wasn't being marketed qHD. It just doesn't look anything HD at all and the fact it's being marketed that way while looking so old school just seem totally wrong.

Not true. I don't need to hold the phone up to my eyeballs to see the distraction. No idea why people keep saying that. No magnifying glass is needed and I don't need to hold it two inches from my nose to notice it.

I think people need to realize that because they don't see the pixelation doesn't mean others don't. Its there and its obvious to some. If you don't see it or you don't care, great.

No idea why people are so hung up on trying to marginalize people who see it.

I agree with kwalker23 there must be something wrong with you guys eyes. I have 20/20 vision went t mess with the Photon, DX2, D3. I honestly seen nothing wrong!!! Unless you hold it at the tip of your nose you will not notice the pixelation. I am the type a guy if I see a dead pixel on my phone I will return it. Sometimes I think you guys are just looking for something to talk about, Or looking for something negative to talk about these 4 phone . If you do not like the phones then move on!!! there are a lot more people on the thread who really do not care about your pentile garbage you are spruing. So just move on to another phone thread and leave the Bionic thread alone. Jaesero you are probably a cool guy in person but enough is enough!!! You got your point across.. We know you do not like the phone move on man!!! God Bless and Have a Great Day!!!

I agree with both kwalker and Slaughtrr...The thing is folks on either side of the argument cant dismiss what the other side sees, dont see. Something I think Slaughtrr understands now...lol

And today is the 7th. Something to do with the FCC docs or something?

Exactly and the only reason I posted is I had IN FACT actually just got home from an outing where I really did pass a Verizon store and go in and check out qHD that really doesn't look qHD AT ALL. The more I use and look at the screen the more stuff notice that just looks off. I was noticing this time none of the icons look as smooth and shading such as that between the folds on the Google maps icon is almost unidentifiable because the yellow exhibits more of the hatching and odd grain to the point it distracts the shaded to where you can't see it. I also believed the jacked up brightness does something to make very fine and minimal changes in shading unidentifiable. Definitely doesn't look as high res as claimed and I think everyone has to notice this whether it bugs them or not.

New Pictures and the manual it looks like. Inductive charging is maybe standard? Not sure if they test optional accessories like that with the actual device usually or not??

^I'm wondering that about the charging back too. Looks like it may come with the Bionic looking at the other leaks too.

I'm very interested in the inductive battery charger. Also, it notes that the battery they used for testing was 1735 mAH.

I am also interested in the inductive back and charging mat. That back is standard but the mat will be an accessory?

    ^Thats sound beliveable.

If that is the case, I might as well get the pad at the same time. Then I would have to get backs for the rest of the phones I still use?

Could it be possible that the Bionic is also a world phone?
