    heh, is that why there's a separate add-on for BB? It'd be way easier if there was one data add-on that would be added for iPhone/Android/BB/etc.

    I once asked for my data plan to be switched to bb data to be added on, the rep seemed like I was asking how to split the atom. How Long do Rogers/fido reps do train for.

    Doesn't matter how much you train them really. The the ones who want to learn and expand will do it. Others will just skate by on what they NEED to know.

    I can't speak for the other call centres, but when I was hired in Montreal, we had about a month of training in class and then another couple of weeks of taking calls in integration (where we'd always have someone to help us out without having to look too far if needed). As ircu said, however, the length of the training isn't as important as the person being trained.

    That could easily mean anything... yes, maybe more probing should be done, but I wouldn't put 100% of the blame on the rep either.
    there are ways to ask, believe me. Been there done that! but no one encouraged reps to do that because it doesn't show up in their CBC stats (customer base calling)
