So far what i've found, and is not to say it works on a computer with an existing token, is that you have to have the UAC off, compatibility view on, the security slider in IE has to all the to the lowest setting and the check box for enable protected mode must be unchecked. thus leaving you and Verizon prone to attack but hey the token works so... this is obviously not the best solution but until Verizon tells us exactly what needs to be done it works. Again i must say i don't yet know if it works on computers with an existing token but i have confirmed it on computers by following these steps and then installing a token.

Why should it be moved? eROES is the agent ordering website, it only concerns agents.

    Anyway what is UAC?

I have been unable to get a token to work on a WIN 7 64 bit machine with IE8. Not sure I want to lower security that much, lol.

IE8 has been broken for sometime now. If you type UAC into your start menu search function it will pop up.

I have no issues. I believe there are instructions in InfoCenter. It just requires a change in security to allow automatic download prompting to deploy the token. Those instructions were actually in all the token documentation.

We've been testing with new systems that are shipping with 64bit versions of Windows 7 and the results have been disappointing to say the least. It seems to work up to the point where you need to capture a signature. At first I thought it may have to do with Java 6 and made sure it's loading the x86 version against the x86 Internet Explorer. However I'm thinking it's more about the 64bit drivers of the signaturepad, seems Eroes tries to make a call for the device but it craps out.

I've tried speaking with support but I get the whole "we don't support that rederick" then they proceed to send me documentation about how I should check the 9-pin serial port on the back of my computer to make sure it's properly fastened to the pad.

It works fine. I just setup a 64bit system a couple weeks ago. Windows 7 IE9 no problems. Do a google search for eroes and ie9 or windows 7 and you'll find a post here on hofo with a link someone posted to the file you need. It's actual drivers or something that make the sig pag work with eroes. It's a special java driver for the pad. I had issues until I found that. Also make sure you force the browser in compatibility mode and you'll have no issues with eroes.

I have had the issue with the signature pad and Eroes and have not found the solution. Would you mind directing to that file you found that solves the issue?
