All porting for Metro's apps and regulations are ahead of schedule. Release date now pushed up to 1st week of August for the Bryce "Esteem"

In other related news, there seems to be more solid info on releases, and a new LG LTE name that popped up.

Samsung r720 Rookie (Android 2.3) - 2nd week of August
Samsung sch-r920 Chief (2.3) - December (Doesn't say LTE, but the 900 series are LTE)
HTC Wildfire S (2.3) - End of September / Early Oct
Samsung Tikal (2.3 / LTE) Feb 2012
Kyocera s1350 Presto (BREW) - 1st week of October
ZTE Arthur (2.3 / LTE) - February
Huawei r920 Wind (2.3 / LTE) - December / Jan
LG Cayman (2.3 / LTE) - November
LG mn270 Beacon (BREW aka Cosmos Touch) - n/a
Huawei m635 Pinnacle (BREW, Form factor of the Freeform, but adds Video recording and playback, and full web browsing via Opera) - n/a

For those who are on "they promised x amount of LTE phones this year" need to remember a fiscal year ends in March.

nize info i wonder if any of those other phones are just as good as the bryce or better? dont want to spend $300-$400 on something to later wish that i would have bought something else.

Unless one of those phones are dual core, don't expect them to be. The Bryce / Esteem has what everyone has asked for. LED flash camera, 1ghz Snapdragon processor, large 4.3" screen, Wifi Tethering (without rooting), 4gb Internal Memory (so there are no low storage issues like the Optimus), Front facing camera, Latest OS Gingerbread...

Ah yes, the ZTE x500 Solar. Forgot that. I was actually glad Metro was the one to pick up that device. Battery life should be great.

So could one would assume that this "LG Esteem" will be the highest end device out of the list provided? Or should we give it some time before we rush and buy it?

NO, that doesn't cut it. In December 2010, Lindquist promised 5 or 6 LTE Androids in 2011 and they delivered the FIRST one in FEBRUARY 2011 -- which was still fiscal year 2010 by your calculations. So, has nothing to do with :fiscal year". It was calendar year 2011. Don't try to weasel out now.

I just checked on this myself, the info on Bryce coming out early was wrong. It did briefly change to 8/6, but is now showing 9/26. My apologies. All the other info is still good.
