    Motorola Triumph Radiation?

Dunno if im too tired tonight or what, feel a bit uncomfortable after messing with the new phone for a while(couple hours... or the entire night....)
Sometimes I feel this way after playing around some phones/routers....... maybe just tired.... idk...
anyway where can I find radiation ratings?

    For Intercept
    http://www.ewg.org/cellphoneradiatio...28SCH-M910%29/

    PCS MODE
SAR when held at the ear 0.68 W/kg
SAR when worn on the body 0.58 W/kg
    CDMA MODE
SAR when held at the ear 0.72 W/kg
SAR when worn on the body 1.08 W/kg
Data sources: manufacturer and Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

Intercept has PCS mode? or a PCS version?

There should be something about radiation on FCC's website, how can I find it?

    Thanks

PCS mode is going to be 1900 MHz, CDMA 850 MHz. The Sprint / Virgin network is all 1900. Since the same phone model is sold for other carriers, it also contains an 850 MHz transmitter, but that will not be used while on Virgin.

SAR for your Triumph should be in one of the books of fine print that came with the phone.

Cell phone RF (microwaves) are non-ionizing -- they are totally different from ionizing radiation (aka "nuclear radiation") and do not make you sick. If non-ionizing RF did make people sick, then we would all be dead from every radio station, cell phone, cell tower, RADAR installation, etc. on the planet because we are bathed in RF every single second of our lives. Obviously, this is not the case.

We resonate at about 300MHz anyway

Don't forget the RF pouring put of the sun and beyond. Lightning radiates everything from DC to daylight as the old joke goes.

I'm in a very heavy, mixed RF environment just about every day. 100KW+ no problem.

Perhaps it's that 'ill feeling' that we get when we realized there just went $300 on something that small? I know it happens to me. Really, it does!

also, you will not feel the radiation or get immediate effects from it. radiation will mutate dna and at worst case scenario cause cancer. Whether or not cell phones will do this is under debate, but it would be years later most likely, so sleep tight, for a few years atleast haha. love mah triumph.

Microwaves are non-ionizing and do not have enough energy to break chemical bonds. Microwaves cannot mutate DNA.
There is no debate -- this is basic science.

RF can and DOES make some people sick

I just purchased a Motorola Triumph as I don't want to fall behind in technology. It does make me feel ill after a short period of use, basically a woozy "off balance" feeling in my head, a headache, a burning sensation in my lungs and tightening of my chest. I have asthma and am sensitive to a lot of things. I knew the Triumph, or any smart phone, would bother me because of being around my nephews' and my husband's new smart phone and having instant reactions. Knowing this, I still bought a smart phone - the Triumph. Trying to get familiar with this phone made me feel so sick that I may take it back and get the cheaper Virgin Mobile phone that's $150 because any smart phone is going to sit in my purse turned off 95% of the time. Considering my circumstances, having the better phone isn't going to be much of an asset.

mod edited: nothing in this section has anything to do with politics. HoFo has a political discussion section for that.

    Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Android; Opera Mini/6.1.25577/25.858; U; en) Presto/2.5.25 Version/10.54)

I've heard that a beta tester of the Optimus Black (Marquee) grew a strange tentacle on his backside, started barking like a dog and then shortly after died! Urban legend or truth? I'm not certain. It makes me afraid to buy a Marquee though!

I hope the Moderator has a sense of humor.
