Hey guys. I currently have a 5 lines of service with verizon on a family share plan. The primary line just used an upgrade 3 months ago. She ended up getting a droid x from walmart.com for $9.99. As far as I know changes can't be made on the calling plan nor can data be removed for 6 months or a fee is charged. Normally I would object to that sort of transaction but it seemed to go well.
I would like to upgrade my non eligable line (droid 2) with an upgrade from our other line to a droid 3. Then have the free phone be the droid x2 (also using another lines upgrade)to replace the primary lines droid x, and then immediately sell the droid x on craigs list.
I am not worried about selling the droid 2, but I am wondering if selling the droid x may cause any issues since it hasn't been on the account for 6 months.
This shouldn't be an issue since the upgrades are available to transfer. What do you think?
If its a no go, at the very least I will just sell my droid 2 and use that money towards the cost of a droid 3 from an online site for $149.99. Aka my cost for a new phone is less than 50 bucks.
Thoughts?
I've had a new phone every 1 to 3 months for the last 10 years and I've actually had my droid 2 since october of 2010. Its had minor issues with the OS but have since been resolved after experimenting and educating myself on custom ROMs.

I've signed up at forums and not done anthing for a while. that seems like a legit question.
Look at you syrkel2.. joined since 2008 and only 8 posts? Can you really dis him, when you barely post?
Yes u tool I can cuz I know him in real life so **** off. I don't use HF cuz it sucks. Xda is way better. This place is old and outdated. They don't even have my phone thumbnail pic to use as a avatar.
good for you then, and considering you never said you knew him in real life.......
have a good day at XDA..
Unfortunately I do know the first two...
Can I get a serious answer?
You've generally answered your own question. Walmart's extra contract requires you to keep the Droid X active on the same original line for 6 months. After that you can swap phones around and sell it.
They didn't have the answer for you at XDA? Nothing makes sense here.
