How to transfer contacts from dumbphones to smartphones?

How to transfer contacts from dumbphones to smartphones?
The old phones are VZW. I have a pair of new prepaid LG Optimus T's to replace them.

    1. LG VX4500
    2. Nokia 6215i

I exported the contact lists to MS Excel from the VZW site before I ported out.

How do I get the information from the old phones or from the computer (.xls) to the new phones?

My PC has Bluetooth, and so do the new phones, I also picked up a USB reader for microSD cards.

Easiest/best way to do this transfer?

You may want to take a look at:

If you can transfer the contacts into the Google Account that will be primarily used on each Optimus, then those contacts will auto sync onto the phone, and onto any future Android that logs into the same account.

My dumb phone has choice to save contacts to sim.

It was simple to just have your dumb phone copy contacts to sim, then when you put the sim card in your smart phone, it will automatically import them into the smart phone contact list.

The OP is coming from Verizon. No SIM cards = no SIM contacts.

Thank you! This makes sense and should work. It sure beats manual entry!
