Motorola Titanium official Review / Complaint thread!
For those that ordered the phone please post your reviews or complaints on this thread.
I know most people that ordered on the weekend will probably be receiving it in a few days, I just want to make sure this phone is worth the upgrade... I just hope it doesn't have similar problems to the i1, the "busy in data" issue was a pain in the neck...
Just got one in. All in all a very nice phone. MO-SMS text messaging is fast and touchpad scrolling is much smoother than the i1. It also has direct talk, which was not available on the i1. Big improvement over the i1 although I wish it had Android 2.2. Hopefully an update for that will be available soon.
I never had reception problems with my i1, so not sure.
The texting is SWEET! I was texting my friend on Verizon and could not believe how fast texts were going. Another cool feature is when someone is calling you and you select ignore, then automatically a prewritten text comes up that says "Sorry I'm busy right now. I will contact you later." and asks if you want to send them a text message.
Not to hijack this thread, but does the Titanium use a normal-sized SIM? I used to swap back & forth between my i686 & the i1 without problems. Just wondering if I can do the same thing.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; Opus One Build/RBE.00.00) AppleWebKit/528.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)
I hope it has the keyshigher from the bottom than the xprt. It needs a cover just to use it
Motorola Titanium Official Review / Complaint Thread!
It doesn't look like there is a lot of activity here, but I am interested in seeing if anybody has tried Direct Talk on the Motorola Titanium and, if so, what sort of range they are getting. I suspect it is less than 1 mile, but I would like to read what others have experienced.
