You should ask to clarify.
SoftBank's prepaid lineup consists of several low-end models, all around 10000 yen, none of which are on the list he/she sent to you.

Strange, cause I'm sure it's the list of price for prepaid.
I have his email which says that. She doesn't buy me a phone with contract![]()

Okay, I think I understand for the price.![]()
It's for a second phone. She already has one with contract.
Maybe, you can have a second phone without a second contract ?
The low end models for Prepaid are a lot cheaper now. My friend just bought one for 6000 yen including 3000 yen prepaid balance. So he paid only 3000 yen for the phone itself.
But I agree, there is no way the J model is half the price of the normal 007sh...

Maybe of she's going to extend her contract then those prices sound about right. Off contract pricing isn't that cheap.
Last time I checked prepaid pricing was a few years ago lol. What phone was it that's that cheap now?

I asked my friend again: The 821SC cost 7000yen including 3000yen prepaid balance. So effectively 4000yen for the phone. Of course it is pretty low-tech.
Hello to everyone. I have a little question just to be sure.
I want to buy this phone. But for me mobile internet via 3G, EDGE or GPRS is very important.
Will it works (I mean mobile internet) with hypersim and correct APN configuration?
Thank you.
GPRS should work. Not sure if it supports EDGE, but no 3G (unless you can live without incoming calls).
I never used video-calls and I'm not interested in this option.
I'm interested only in working mobile internet. And it doesn't matter will it work through GPRS or 3G. It should work.
Ok. Thank you.
And one more. What about navigation? Does GPS work?
According to here:
http://www.esato.com/phones/Sharp-Aquos+007SH-807
it does support EDGE! In this case the lack of 3G seems not that big a deal to me anymore. At least if one can live without the video call feature.![]()
Can anyone confirm this?

GPS should work fine.
That website also says it doesn't support HSDPA, but I'm pretty sure it does.
Just for reference, I took my SH-12C to the US and used it on T-Mobile. Only a 'G' appeared, but I think someone on here said that EDGE was actually supported despite the lack of an E icon.
So that site might be correct, but it could be wrong.
all incoming calls
