Yep, maybe I can change the title and make a post with all the info ?

    Nice music in your video.
Thanks, it's youtube who suggest me this choice ^^

    And another problem
    Internet, sms and mms works.
But, I can't receive mms. I can just send them with Go Sms.
I read the post about Go Sms Pro and I configured the url user agent.

It's stange because, I can't download the message even by the Softbank app.
Error : Failed to receive - Retry.

Some problem with the APN ?
    Aye Sir ^_^ o/

    Hi o/
Any idea to help me ?
If I active the apn and the user agent in Go Sms Pro, I can't send mms.
    It only works without.

But it's impossible to receive mms. I have a notification from softbank app but impossible to download the mms. And some time later, Go sms Pro received a message from my operator to view my mms online and not on my phone directly >.<

Aya, the instructions i listed for Go SMS are only for if you are using it with Softbank SIM.

First, forget using the Softbank mail app for anything other than SMS. It is hardcoded to access the Softbank MMS servers, so it wont be able to send/receive without a SB SIM

What you need to do is find out the correct APN settings for an Android phone on your current provider. It should contain an MMSC setting, and possibly a proxy/port
Make sure the APN Type is set to default, mms (or use default, mms, dun if you want to use tethering).

That should get you able to use internet. The 3G logo will be displayed next to the signal bars

Then get Go SMS, uncheck the "manually define user agent" and other stuff, most foreign providers dont need you to spoof that in order to send/receive MMS - thats only for Japan which is strict on that stuff (and some foreign telcos - try googling to find if any other issues are being reported). All you need is a valid APN with the "mms" part added to it.

Check the 'disable default messaging app' option in Go SMS, and change the SB mail app to use a quiet message tone

Now that you are using an Android phone, you dont need to limit your searches to this sub-forum. The settings/methods to make it work will be the same as everyone else with their HTC/Samsung/Motorola phones.

    Hi o/

Sorry for the late reply, I was really busy this week

Aya, the instructions i listed for Go SMS are only for if you are using it with Softbank SIM.
Yeah but I tried all I found on the internet because I want my mms works

First, forget using the Softbank mail app for anything other than SMS. It is hardcoded to access the Softbank MMS servers, so it wont be able to send/receive without a SB SIM
I don't use this app... I only use Go Sms Pro for sms and mms. But when I received mms, Softbank app notify me. I deactivated the ring but I have the icon. It's not a problem anyway, just a fact ^^

What you need to do is find out the correct APN settings for an Android phone on your current provider. It should contain an MMSC setting, and possibly a proxy/port

I thought, my apn was correct because, I had Internet and I could send mms. But not received them anywhere. >.<
I called my operator to have some info about APN. Maybe there are another configuration which works better.
He told me to enter the MCC and MNC but it's impossible. The APN doesn't want save if I change that.
But there are another problem. Since I tried to change the APN, I have no internet anymore. I tried to reset, reboot, etc... I had an error " You have lost data connectivity because you left your home network with data roaming turned off". I didn't change anything so I don't understand.
I have no internet or EDGE or 3G since one week now >.<

I have seen this error a couple of times on my 005SH and (as I mentioned earlier) the only way I was able to get internet back was to perform CPR on an internet-capable "normal" phone. You don't need to actually use the internet (I perfrom the CPR on my 904SH, without even removing the hypersim).

I performed my first CPR the last week because I lost the signal when I leave the town (Next time I will activate offline mode even if I must type my PIN every time :x)
I didn't know that works for internet too. Thanks.
I wanted to try this and I don't, shame on me :x

Now, I have internet again and I can send mms. But I always can't receive them >.<

So, internet problem solved then! Great!

I don't think Offline mode will save you. In my experience, going Offline only works if for a short interval, like 2-4 minutes. Whenever I stayed in Offline mode for longer, I needed to perform CRP again to get signal back. Perhaps the hypersim "forgets" the network info, I don't really know...

Another possible explanation is that the Offline mode trick only works if you don't change signal towers. If you do - CPR...

It was just for a short time. I was in car and there are an area without coverage ^^
I wanted to try if my hypersim regain the signal or not :x And NO haha

    Yep ^^
But not for mms. In France mms works much better than email. So it's really annoying to don't receive them.
