That speedtest looks very erroraneous if you were indeed connected to wind network. I usually get between 2 and 3mbps which is just a few kilobytes and nothing in megabytes.

I was out today when I thought I'd try a speed test on a LG Optimus 2X via the speedtest.net app:
While the upload and pings could be better the download is not bad at all. This is at the Ikea in Burlington (inside at the entrance to the restaurant).
What do you get?
To post your results download the speedtest.net app, run a couple of tests, tap on your fastest one and then tap the envelope at the top right to email the results. Then copy and paste the url to the image here.

My iPhone 5 ringtone: Bah, Bah, Black Sheep.

No such luck. I'm still below 3mbps since December. Haven't actually used my Wind SIM in weeks until today.

-------------------------------------- [ Windicity ] Must Succeed! ---------------------------------------
All my speedtests were in the previous speedtest thread. I won't be topping up my Infinite Laptop plan until they fix their data speeds. Getting less than 1Mbps download consistently is almost unusable for me.
1300/500 downtown. The sky is not falling.
If those tests are correct this would seem to indicate WIND is enabling HSPA+ in some areas. The LG Optimus 2X is the first device sold by WIND that actually supports it.
I don't think enabling it would be difficult for WIND, likely all their equipment already supported "flipping the switch" persay when they launched. It's just their backbone that needs to be able to handle it.
*Also the highest speedtests on my Nexus S have been around 4.5mbps, can't test at the moment as I'm throttled. But I average 2-3mbps.
Heres what I've gotten in the past

As fast as:
With Mobi, I have no problem hitting 2.3Mbps down at various times of the day with around 0.8Mbps up.
I'm consistently hitting 3 sometimes 4 with my optimus for the past week or so, 3 during peak hours and 4 in the wee hours. Definite improvement I've been seeing.
3 and 4 is hardly an improvement when I used to be able to get 7 consistently. That was Pre-Holiday Miracle plan.
This is in New Westminster standing outside my office.
I went around the GTA one day in June testing speeds using the hotspot...
