Are there any settings or things that can affect the upload speed? The highest I have ever got was 90kbps (once) and I usually get about 20kbps or 30kbps, Download speeds seem fine around the 1500kbps to 4000kbps. I am on a blackberry plan using a galaxy nexus but that shouldn't affect it as far as I know, right? Located in Edmonton.

Yeah it doesn't really matter Rajax, BB data is data + BIS. Anyways, same problem here. Okay ping, decent download and terrible upload.

BTW: Isn't this thread supposed to be about current speedtests? skhan27 is always posting along with speedtests from over a year ago in their signature. What's that about?

Just got my fastest result yet:

Tested on the device itself (not while tethering) @ home, near Don Mills neighbourhood.

Granted it is 7:15 in the morning, but considering the phone's HSDPA protocol only supports 7.2 Mbps and I just got 5.81 (81% of theoretical max), I am quite impressed. Also hit nearly 45% of theoretical max of 5.76 Mbps HSUPA. WIND's upload speeds are often abysmal, so that's not bad!

I am hoping they'll reach the point where I can get about 3 Mbps down / 1.5 Mbps up during peak hours. That hasn't happened yet.

I've been unable to get anything over 1.3mbps on my 7.8mbps device and uploads are abysmal.

Most of these were in Scarborough with a couple in Downtown. Data speeds have been atrocious since around December. Back in the summer I was consistently in the 3-5Mbps range for downlink and 0.5-0.6 for up.

+1 lol the nexus won't magically make speeds greater just because it has a theoretical max of 21mbps

For a couple weeks, Wind data was great for me and now it's back to the garbage it used to be.

Routinely get 0.3Mb down and 0.1Mb up. Now I'm usually so fed up I try and find WiFi because I can't do basic tasks with Wind data. At times I can't even load webpages in a reasonable time (sometimes takes 3-4 minutes to load pages!!!!).
