I'm using Juice Defender and Toggle Settings. Battery life isn't amazing but it is manageable.

I'm not sure how you're coming to the conclusion that WIFI is using less power given that screenshot.

I keep my wifi off permanently unless I am planning on DLing a big file and I am near a wifi connection.

Given your screen and mine, I used 3G, you used Wifi (your 3G would be off).

As you can see from mine, Cell Standby drew 7% more than Phone Idle (I keep 3G on), while yours drew 2% more, so that would mean my 3G drew roughly 1/20 of the battery - while your wifi used almost 1/3 of the battery.

Or am I misunderstanding the two charts?

There's a lot more math to those numbers than it appears, and I'm probably not smartphone enough to lay it out. I do know you need to click the "Standby" or "WiFi" graphs an look at "time on" and "tws". Like my total time is 22.5 hrs., cell standby 29%, but cell standby time on is 10 hrs (44% of total). It appears to be more complicated than it looks... You should also look at your total battery loss %. I've lost 24% in 22.5 hrs; but 13 of those hours were in airplane mode (which records as phone Idle), I lost .1% per hour for 1st 13 hrs, then about 2.2% per hour in 3G mode for the next 9.5 hrs. If I'm using Wifi, I'm probably doing a lot of browsing, so drain will increase, but if I'm doing nothing in Wifi, battery will not drain at all (or will not add to the airplane or 3G rate). IMO: Phone trying to connect (or to stay connected) to 3G (or 1X) is the one of the biggest drains.... and if the Triumph actually does have a lower signal (inferior antenna) that will add a lot to the battery drain.

PS: My examples are with my Optimus.

Last night I ran the battery all the way down into the ground and then did a full recharge ( first time I did this with the T), now my battery behaves almost as well as the OV. Yesterday at this time I was at 80% left and today I am at 90%. But I still want an extended battery !

Most people I think use their 3G connection and if they are leaving the WiFi on just uses up battery. If you use both WiFi and 3G often every day then there is not much point in turning the WF off. But if you use WF nearly all the time then turn the 3G off.
The point behind the comment was to turn off everything you are not using. Everything that is on that you don't use drains the battery faster.
Turn it off and you keep more juice.

Man I cant wait for an extended battery, right now I have to charge at night and by 12-4pm. I have to use my external battery charger the moto p970. It charges it to about 90 %, it usually lasts till 10 or 11pm then the process repeats again.

Yeah battery life is horrible no matter what you do.

I can stream pandora all day and it lasts almost as long as it does with nothing going on. Might as well do something! lol

Also out of curiosity, how much battery percentage is everyone losing overnight? I'm losing ~30% without even touching it...that can't be right. With my Optimus, I lost maybe 2% overnight and my friend's Incredible loses around 5% (it even has a smaller battery than the Triumphs). So I'm skeptical if the problem lies with the battery, if it's the Triumph, or if it's just MY specific Triumph.
I'm losing close to 10%. Maybe your phone is not turning off wifi, bluetooth, or something else.

About the same here. I got 1 day 10 hours before I was at 11%. I left it like that and when it hits 10% it actually turns off. That kind of surprised me.

I'm not sure how accurate phone battery info is. I've gone over 3 days since charge, still have 40% battery. What appears "odd" is the app "ShootMe" shows 17% CPU usage, but clicking on it shows only on for 13 seconds! Can't take that much power to take a screen shot! Optimus-V.
