Motorola Droid X2 flashed to metropcs... got a problem...

    OK here goes...
Got a Droid X2 and flashed it into metro
i used hw serial to create a port then used cdma workshop and provisioned my data and nam settings... I used the 02004.prl for this device and rebooted it and tried to make a call but call just fails... ok well i thought maybe the PRL might be corrupt so itried a couple others (02003.prl, 02001.prl, 01004.prl...etc). Still nothing...

Thought maybe I could flash a custom rom to see if that could make a difference...

    Rooted the phone with Gingerbreak.apk
flashed a recovery to the device and flash MinimalX Rom to the device...
double checked my Nam and Data and still calls fail...

what am i doing wrong here. Is the frequency different on the X2
is there possibley a radio patch i can use???
any ideas??? the help is much appreciated.

    What was the issue??

I actually have a Motorola droid 3, and I had the EXACT same problem... I connected via HW SERIAL and used CDMAWS to flash the nv items and uploaded the 03022 prl for blazing internet speeds...

For 5 minutes, I had 3G internet and incoming and outgoing picture messaging... Then, ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE 3G disappeared... WTH? It shows FULL signal bars, but the calls don't go through... I try to make a call and it just hangs for about 50 seconds, and then just call fails... I can't even dial 911..

Then every once in a blue moon, a call will connect..

So finally, I had to run an SBF bat, and restore it to normal... I did the *22804 activation and got it on Metro PCS again.. So I doubt it's the prl.. cause I reconnected, and installed 3022 prl, and it worked perfectly fine.. So I concluded, it can't be CDMAWS either...

So then it MUST BE the NV Items, right?? The NV Items I had were for the droid 1... could it be that those aren't compatible with the droid 3? Please help.. I don't want a droid 3 with only talk and text..

Do you know possibly where I could find these Metro PCS NV Items for the Droid 2 Global? If you have them, I would greatly appreciate it..

Find a guide for the Droid X and follow that.Only difference is the way you put it on diagnostic mode i believe.
