I have the analysis of the coveted 11114 PRL up. 3G roaming just about everywhere you look! This is the way the PRL should be for everyone...but I'm sure Sprint couldn't afford it.

i just updated to 60680 and now every time i go into roaming (forced or not) my phone keeps selecting cricket
first off, if i wanted my calls to sound muffled and drop like that i'd actually pay cricket directly, and the data speed is actually worse than Sprint on high peak times
off to flash a modded PRL..

I think Sprint did the priority change for Cricket many PRLs ago... what version were you on before?
60679 but for some reason i was still getting VZW roaming, and it looks because i took the ota 2.3 update i cant push a modded prl to the phone
Cricket wouldnt be too bad if i could just get EVDO roaming, it's going to 1x on cricket causing 900ms ping and ~120kbps speeds
Hey digiblur, I'm running an app named Netmonitor that shows you the SID, NID and BID that you're connected to. Since you are well versed on this topic do you happen to know what the BID represents? I'm assuming it is the actual tower that I'm connected to since the map portion of the app shows various locations that change as you travel around.
TIA![]()
I believe that's the Basestation ID. But in some cases I've seen it incorrect and not change while you are watching the screen. It's better to go by the PN numbers which are assigned to each sector of the tower.
I would like to know myself too and to know how to load it on a Blackberry Bold 9650 if that is possible to do or even worth it since I travel across the country here twice a year? Thanks

Think I found it over at XDA. Anyone know how to load this onto an Evo Shift?
Grab QPST and your MSL code and load it. Very straightforward. Here's a pretty good tutorial on getting the PRL on your phone.
updated prl from Sprint Touch Pro 2 I just pulled the PRL as of today and located in the chicago area if that makes any difference.
51xxx series are for GSM capable phones which to be honest does not make sense since GSM does not use PRLs.
