After porting the number, the old phone still works...

Well, I don't know how this happened but after porting to Virgin Mobile, my old T-mobile phone still works!?

And this is a few days after porting, I would think if there is an overlap, it would have been over by now. Well, I am naltalgic to the pay-as-you-go plan, so I don't mind having it a few days more and depleting the exisiting balance. It's just weird that the same number is working on two phones with different carriers.

    Does anyone have similar experience?

Bizarre! So if you call that number, which phone rings?

yea thats crazy if its happening for more than a few days while the network updates ur mdn-msid combo or whatever.

but for text msg, that still happens often for people. especially if u port from voip/landlines. i've heard of people getting texts on the old plan and calls on the new plan, (or vice versa with land) indefinitely unless fixed.

Which dictionary did you use to come up with the word naltalgic?
