Is anyone having problems with Yahoo mail?

Is anyone having trouble downloading Yahoo email on their iPhones via email icon app? I haven't been able to download on my iPhone 4 since yesterday morning, but it works fine on my PC or accessing via Safari. My iPhone 4 shows downloading 1 of 18 but it's not pulling them into my inbox. I deleted the account and re-added it, still no go and the last email it's showing in my inbox is from 6/17/2011. What's going on???

I called ATT tech support yesterday about another matter and they had an announcement that they were having an issue with Yahoo email. Are you on ATT? Did you try the phone wireless on your internet connection or only on 3G?

I called Apple support this morning and went through tons of troubleshooting. Still having the same problem. Tech suggested that I do a restore as new. I did a restore from back-up last night and it didn't fix the issue. Is it worth doing the restore as new or chalk it up as a Yahoo issue?

As was advised in post #2, see if it works when you connect through a different ISP via Wi-Fi.

Yes, I am on AT&T. I tried it both on my wifi at home and on 3G. Still not working properly.

Try reentering your password under your account in the settings menu I'm with Verizon and had the same issue. I did this and have had no issues since

I am still having the same problem. I did all the troubleshooting that I could. I even loaded up my yahoo email account onto my son's iPod Touch 4. Same problem. His (and my wife's) yahoo mail are working fine. It has to be an issue with yahoo's servers or something. What the heck is going on?

I sent in a request to yahoo support. They are experiencing unusually high volumes.

    "Hello,

This automated message is confirmation that Yahoo! Customer Care has
    received your inquiry.

Please be aware that we are currently receiving unusually high volumes,
so our reply is likely to exceed our normal 24-hour response time. But
rest assured your inquiry is being routed to one of our Technical
Support Agents. In the meantime, you may want to visit our Help Pages
where our customers often find answers to their questions.

    We appreciate your patience.

    Sincerely,

I think there is a problem with the Yahoo servers. I haven't had trouble so much with my phone but I have a Yahoo plus account and use POP mail with Outlook and have been having problems with it accepting my password for past couple of weeks.

Well, I got a response from yahoo. I followed the steps and unfortunately,
my yahoo mail still does not work on my iPhone

"Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Mobile Tech Support.

I understand that you are having an issue downloading emails on your
iPhone. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, and
I am glad to assist you with your concern.

I've performed some maintenance on the server side of your account which
should resolve the problem. In order to make sure these changes take
effect, please remove your Yahoo! account from your phone, turn the
phone off and back on, and then re-add your Yahoo! account.

To set up your Yahoo! Mail on your iPhone, you will need to utilize the
Yahoo! Mail option provided on your iPhone. To do this, please take the
    following steps:

    1. Select the "Settings" widget.

    2. Select the "Mail" option.

    3. Select the "Add Account" option.

    4. Select the "Yahoo! Mail" option.

    5. Enter your name or the account name under "Name."

    6. Enter your Yahoo! email address under "Address." Please make sure to
include your domain name (example, 1234@yahoo.com).

    7. Enter your password.

    8. Enter a description of the account you are setting up.

Your Yahoo! Mail should connect and set up correctly. If you find that
you are encountering an issue adding your Yahoo! Mail account, please
let us know the following information so that we can assist you:

    - The exact error message you are receiving on your iPhone when you
    attempt to access your mail

    - What security update are you currently using on your iPhone (current
    is 3.1.3)

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue to have problems,
and I'll be happy to assist you.

If you have other questions or concerns regarding the Yahoo! Mobile
service, kindly let us know. We will be more than happy to assist you
    again.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Mobile Tech support."

Yes, I have an PDA (HP RX-3715) and starting yesterday I could download mobile yahoo "Today" or my Emails. I connect through my Wi-Fi, so it is not a phone network issue. Had never had an issue before yesterday. Someone said to log in again I did and it didn't help. Also, my device is no longer down loading images, I assume this is a result of the same issue.

OK. I think I have a fix Maybe just a fluke but it worked for me.

    1. Go to your yahoo mail account via your pc. Log off!! Important.

    2. Go to your I phone and delete your yahoo mail settings.

    3. Turn off your Iphone

    4. Turn on your Iphone.

    5. Go to settings>mail and set up your yahoo account again.

BAM. That should do it. It did for me after two days of hair pulling.
