    Bell Mobility early termination fee?

Does anyone know what it is? Couldn't find it on their website. Was looking at Galaxy S2 on a 3 year agreement and just trying to figure out what the cancellation fee is should I wish to do that say 12 months in. Thanks!

    1 year in would be $15x24 = $360

So it's the same as what it used to be? $20 a month times the remaining months? I'm month to month with Telus currently so just trying to check my options if I do a new contract. Telus and Rogers's early cancellation fees seem a lot more fair now.

that is very strange. every time i've called in to ask about my ETF it's been $15/mo. does it have to do with being on a 2yr old plan that doesn't exist anymore?

Nope. It's been $20/month for much more than 2 years.

$15 / month is the EARLY UPGRADE FEE on consumer accounts.
Termination is still $20 / month.

No because it isn't the data plan that triggers eligibility.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but say my plan deactivates on March 16th, and I cancel my bill on Nov 14th. Do I still pay for a full month of november, or only 2 days of that month?

Your line is cancelled 30 days after you give notice of cancellation. To cancel Nov 14, you'd have to have called Oct 14.

What if I port though? Is it the same? I don't see why I would pay for an extra month if I can't use Bell.

^That's an issue you can take up with the CRTC. I'm just telling you how it is. The day your port will be day 1 of notice.

You Could call Bell 30 days before your port, and they can apply a 30 day notice code on your account, so that on day 30, you may port, and you won't be billed any further.

File a complaint with the CCTS, not CRTC.
