Straight Talk uses at&t postpaid coverage also data isnt throttled. The at&t gophone $50 plan uses at&t prepaid coverage and data is seriously throttled. Straight Talk would be better and around the same cost.

what is the difference between straight talk $45 now $50 with tax vs ATT go phone $50 plan both plans use AT&T network.

The $50 unlimited AT&T prepaid plan is for feature phones and dumb phones only. A prepaid smartphone, (like the Thrive) they offer is $25 more for 500 mb of data (expensive).
Is this a phone worth getting? can it do you tube? I also noticed it's 3G which is good. I have a LG 420g which is edge based. So overall is it worth the upgrade?

You need to edit your post with just the model number. Links like the one you gave time out and then take you back to the start screen.
Edit: I clicked on it a second time and the screen came up (Samsung T528G).
You can only access youtube with the Wi-Fi connection, NOT with 3G. The 528 is a feature phone not a Smartphone.
Link removed. I see they only have 3 smart phones all for $200
You can order the E71 and 6790 from the Walmart website for $169.99 and have it shipped for free for store pick up, or .97 cents to your home. Go to Walmart through Shop Discover (if you have a Discover card) for 5% extra cashback. Few seem to be interested in the 6790. The E5 is new and still at $200. Click on the following link and find a phone of interest and click on the "learn more" link underneath to go to the Info/tutorials page. http://www.straighttalk.com/Phones
Can I use unlocked phone from newegg?
After you get the Straight Talk phone (E5, E71, 6790), you can take the SIM out and use it in any AT&T Phone or unlocked GSM phone. The caveat is you MUST keep the original ST phone.
If you don't need a lot of data, look at H20 Wireless' $50 Unlimited Talk/Txt + 250MB data plan. Its cheaper upstart as you don't need to buy/keep a $200 phone.

who does H20 Wireless use I only have good service with AT&T or Verizon in my area sprint and T mobile barley works here.
They use native AT&T coverage. Check the coverage map on their site for details: https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/pageC...?page=coverage
what coverage does straight talk use for verizon? Prepaid or post paid coverage?
