is there a Net10 phone with "real" web browsing?

i have a T401G and the WAP browsing is absolutely awful - not to mention that tiny little screen is killing my eyesight
does Net10 have any phones that have a better browsing experience - i'm not looking for 3G or 4G browsing, but something other than WAP would be OK in my book - and a phone that you could install an extra app or 2 might help matters in that dept?

Can't you load Opera or Bolt Browsers apps on the 401G? I thought the 401G could do apps, is that wrong? If you can that should take care of your problem.

I don't know, i haven't tried, its a pretty painful experience all in all, that I thought i could handle, but the screen is just so small it makes it difficult - i'll try opera mini and see what that does - but i could still use info on a phone with "real web browsing" with a bit bigger screen like those LGs - but don't want to waste the money if they only offer WAP browsing.

Nothing will make the screen larger no matter what browser you use.

I have an LG800g, a small touchscreen phone, and whist it's been known to be a glitchy phone with some problems, if you are lucky enough to have it work decently for you, then it's probably a slightly better experience than you're currently getting for web---that is, if you install either the Bolt browser or the Opera Mini browser (because those let you use a virtual qwerty keyboard even though the phone's included browser does not). Anyway... It's still a far cry from a real smart phone, but it's an improvement. You can sort of surf regular webpages with Bolt/OperaMini if you're willing to scroll around the screen a lot. (It still does best when you stick with WAP/mobile-specific sites, though.) So with that said... It's somewhat cool for a Net10 or Tracfone, but the web browsing still sucks really bad compared to the real phones like Android and iPhone, etc.

There's also the new Moto EX124g touchscreen phone, but I don't know how the browsing is on that. But I'd imagine it's probably better than the Samsung T401g browsing, too. Plus, it might not be as glitchy as the LG800g. But I haven't followed those threads much to say for certain.

You best bet is probably the LG900G. I had one previously with both opera and bolt browsers on it. They both worked well for me.

For me, Tracfone would be a poor choice for web browsing because it charges by the minute for the entire length of time the browser is open. Often I access very small amounts of data, but I might linger for a while in real time.

This reply was in response to the suggestion that one change the browser using the same phone. Even if you change phones you still have a small screen compared to a computer. You will have to deal with either full HTML web pages shown on that screen or having to scroll both left and right and up and down to see an enlarged version of the web pages.

The touchscreens would have the biggest displays, and the bigger the screen the better.
Opera and/or Bolt are must haves for web use on any phone from TF/NET10.

    That said, I'm pleased with Opera Mini 4.3 on my LG500G and it's 176 x 220 screen.
I don't use it much due to cost on TF, but it has been handy a few times. Opera is more miserly with air time too.

    The LG900G (NET10) has a bigger screen, 320 x 240 pixels.
    The LG800G has the same 240 x 320 pixels
