Sonry Ericsson Arc Random Rebooting

I know this is a major concern as it affects many people including me. Some say it's a software issue, others say it's a hardware issue. But I read somewhere that it is mainy due to the Whatapp application. I have that app installed on my phone since day one. Can anyone confirm if by uninstalling this app will solve the rebooting issue? I alkready have it uninstalled just mins ago and will monitor closely at my uptime.

Diddnt do anything to me when I installed nothing on my phone.
it rebooted when i play movies.
SE never had a good job on their firmware.

Well it turned out that even after uninstalling the whatsap app, my phone still reboots. I guess there is no fix except getting a new phone. Sigh
