Leaving Fido, advice needed..

I have an old POS Fido phone, but have almost 200 bucks in Fido Dollars. My intention is to cash those in and get a Fido phone, then sell or trade it... because I want to goto Wind or Mobilicity and I know Fido phones even unlickde ones, will not work there cuz of the whole AWS issue.

QUESTION:

Where can I go preferably in downtown Toronto that will sell used AWS phones unlocked, and may also consider buying fresh in the box Fido phones?

On the other hand, a friend of mine moved from Fido to Mobi, he lost $150 Fido dollars, the day we were doing the port the system was down at Fido, normal occurrence with Fido's CS, still my friend doesn't care cause he's happy with Mobi instead of paying what he was paying on Fido.

Also care to note that using the Fido $$ u'll still have to pay the HUF which is like $25.

Shouldnt he have cashed in his FDollars, got the phone in his hands, THEN changed carriers. As a matter of fact Fido says you have declared your intention to change carriers, you lose all your FDollars.
