Let me be clear to anybody thinking of buying a Nexus One.
Having owned cell phones since day one I can say with authority that the Nexus One is the worst piece of crap I have ever owned. DON'T BUY ONE. My iPhone is faster on T-Mobile edge than the Nexus is on 3G!
Reception? Forget it. There is none unless you happen to be standing under a cell tower. I can go on and on.
I'll never buy another HTC or Google product.

Funny. I've got a Nexus One and it has been the one of the most reliable (as in it doesn't crash, it never has reception issues and it's solidly built) devices I've had in the past few years.
I've had more issues with T-Mobile reception on many devices so I would suggest you go back to them and ask for a new SIM card - that normally works. Unless you get a freaky data problem where they suggest you change your number (!) to fix the problem. Moved back to AT&T to save them (and me) all the hassle.
