    WOW. Just held it. It's exactly as pictured in the link. Screen is fantastic, Much better than Bionic, so glad I returned mine. It's my understanding that there will be no more physical changes at least.

    the info i have is largely rumor and attempted logical deduction (i.e., educated speculation). whatever info you could find would be greatly appreciated! the picture is less than clear on this, and there is some real concern that vzw won't release a pure Nexus device...

    No I wasn't, just able to power it on and scroll the the screens, etc. There was no sim card in it so can't download anything from the Market.

    To those complaining that it isn't MUCH better than the Bionic, wait til you hold it....

    I hope they keep the look of it because I personally love the way it looks. But does it really have a non removable battery? Not a real deal breaker but it is nice to have an extra battery if needed.

    As far as the whole Nexus Prime for VZW.... If ICS is supposed to be first released on Verizon like all the "rumors" say then maybe it will still be a stock device like the OG Droid or even the Xperia play is with some Verizon bloat on it but no skin over it, or Samsung figured a way to port their tuchwiz ui from honeycomb to ICS?

    Either way I would much rather have a moto device then Samsung (just not a big fan of their phones) and I hope Moto stays with a TI chip even if its just a turbo 4430, because we all know Google chose that chipset for ICS optimization.

    One question fone sex.... why are the capacitive buttons different then found on all the Moto BLUR phones? Did it have Blur on it?

    Yeah man, looks even better than in the pics, slick, solid, light, looks expensive. Looks much "cooler" (I know that's corny) than the Bionic. From what I hear the exterior is final. I only wish it was 4.5" screen. And yes, non-removable battery, which i don't mind so much. One of the worst things about the Bionic IMO was the design of the battery cover, felt cheap and like it was just a matter of time before it broke.

    All I need is a 2011 release date. I don't worry so much about the bootloader as long as the 2nd init method can be used to load up CM and miui.

    If the nexus prime has any ounce of verizon branding or bloatware, then my decision will be so much easier.

    Was it pretty obvious that is was AMOLED and not LCD?? I am still a tad skeptical about that claim, but would be perfectly happy with a really high grade LCD.

    I thought YOU were the man KB?

    Seriously though what's the deal with this whole thing? What is the i515? The Charge 2 or the Samsung Galaxy SII HD? There is literally tons of conflicting info on this whole thing. Seems nobody knows anything beyond its a Samsung handset. Im hoping the Droid HD turns out to be something worthy of purchasing and it appears it is but I'd like to hear some other opinions from actual hands on users.

    This is pretty strange that Verizon will have that stance, when the original DROID was exactly like a nexus device. Wonder what made them turn down the device in the first place?

    Is this still the same one you looked at a week or so ago, or is it different?

    I don't care for the flimsy plastic battery cover on the Bionic either. After a few days of use, the cover started to "creek" when you pressed on it around the top and camera area. Much rather prefer the metal cover on the DroidX(2).
    => Read my reviews for the Samsung Droid Charge, HTC ThunderBolt, and Casio G'zOne Commando.

    => VX8000 at Disney World:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

    Having a replaceable rather than removable battery could mean this battery cover is also a bit more permanent. Still curious to see what this Kevlar material they are using is?? Is it some durable plastic impregnated into a Kevlar cloth or something or is it more along the lines of a resin impregnated Kevlar like used in bullet proof helmets and such?? Only asking because it seems it might be kinda costly to use the actual resin/epoxy sorta buildup.
