Sharp-made, Android-based, Yahoo phone, for SoftBank.
Haha. Well the Yahoo phone is finally here, and it's based on Google's mobile operating system.
The main difference between this and the normal, 'THE PREMIUM 009SH', is that it's preinstalled with 13 Yahoo-provided application, a Yahoo! Home launcher, and a Yahoo! Japan logo emblazoned on the back.
You also get a complimentary 2 year subscription to Yahoo's 'Premium Member' service, normally 346 yen per month.

Erm, discuss!

I'm not sure... has SoftBank announced their unlock plans yet?

Oh even more ironic, cuz I doubt Softbank/Sharp/Yahoo has made a very big deal with Google for Market access.. which means this Yahoo phone will require a Google account to get access to all the juicy Android apps!
All I remember is a mention that the zte 008z or whatever would be the first unlocked one...
