Can the Droid in credible to be used on simple mobiles network

I am thinking about purchasing the droid incredible 2 and flashing it over to simple mobile know I that with phones from different carriers you need to reconfigure some settings but my question is will it run differently since its a verizon phone ive heard that phones from AT&T dont work at so all is it same?.................. I know the incredible S is the same phone and that the incredible S will work with SM but incredible S is a lot more expensive, is it the same and should i go a head and buy the phone or will i be wasting my money
