I tried that once with the virgin Sim card in the phone and once with my Rogers sim card in the phone.
Both tries didn’t work. It says “Could not find Sim Unlock code”
Do I need to be connected to the internet for that program to work?
I assume if I have “The yellow triangle on the boot up screen I am rooted?”

really work for Virgin sgs 2. spent hours tried other tool, didn't work, a lot of guys complained hard to find the tool to work for Bell. this one is a beauty. appreciated very much the Tekno and the smart developer. Highly recommend!

the short answer is yes.

You can unlock for just for $9.89. To unlock the device you need a unlock code. This code will remove SIM lock on your Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. To get the code, you have to contact with phone carrier's support. You need to provide s2 skyrocket’s IMEI number.
-> Switch on the phone with unregistered sim.
-> Enter the unlock code when prompted.
That's it your phone will now be unlocked.
