someone please help me... revol is just not doing it... or even have a solution except there lil update that doesnt work at all...... for the past 3 days i've experienced bad tech support for one and second i haven't been able to read a single new text message i get.... it was working fine then it popped up as new message.. the icon and the inbox wasnt showing the new messages... so i deleted the rest of the messages and kept the unread messages in the inbox and it will not let me into the inbox at all.. not even to read or review one i have read already... and when i turn the phone off and turn back on the inbox messages are gone... the update dont work, battery out for 2 mins dont work.... im really lost and dont know what to do....
Although I have YET to suffer the problems you are having with your gem of a phone, my Torino S2300 I has given me nothing but PROBLEMS from day one. Aside from its lack of, what are basic features in similar priced phones, the text message alert (ring) just does not work!!! I have done everything the manual states to assign rings to the text message alert and it just won't ring consistently and alert me when a text comes in. If at all! Instead of one of the rings I have assigned in it to alert me, it only makes one, very tiny, almost inaudible beep and the screen light flashes for a few seconds. And this alert I am getting is not one of the choices in rings. It has a mind of its own and has driven me KRAZY these past 2 weeks. I have returned to the store three times and they fool around with the settings. After much trial, they somehow manage to get it to ring with an incoming text and it will start ringing for them. After I leave the store the phone no longer rings with a text. As soon as I walk out the door of the store. It's that bad. I was beginning to think that the sales people were thinking I was some nut, because it almost never rings for me. The last time I went back they gave me a new one and I lost all my purchased ring tones and wallpaper (which became corrupted right after the downloads-another story). If I received 10 texts in a day, the ringer may ring once if at all. The new phone has the same problems and I am using the just the ring alerts that came with the phone. It still won't ring an alert ring to let me know I have an incoming text! HELP ME PLEASE, before I jump off a cliff. I hope someone can help us both with these phones from hell. Thanks for the heads up on the BAD tech support and I am assuming you mean from the manufacture, whom I plan to try and call tomorrow. I can't go back to the phone store a forth time! There must be some glitch in the texting part of the phone. H E L P !
