Fido, Pay As You Go, Data Services not working.

I have a Rogers Blackberry 9780. It was unlocked so I can use it on Fido Pay As You Go.

I turned on the "Data Services" on and tried to open the browser. It says "Data Services are disabled. Go to Mobile Network to enable". It's already enabled though and I can't purchase the data pass.

It has nothing to do with the plan. According to Fido Pay As You Go "Just launch your internet browser and you’ll be asked to purchase a Data Pass when you browse to any chargeable website before you can continue."

Any opinions? The only thing here is that I have an unlocked phone.

    Wirelessly posted (HTC Desire: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.3; en-ca; SonyEricssonMK16a Build/4.0.A.2.335) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I dont think fido offers prepaid blackberry data, so you might have to change the apn to internet.com

I don't think the BlackBerry native browser will work without a BIS package. Have you tried downloading Opera Mini or another browser and trying that?
Wireless Cynic - Cynicism. There's an app for that.
