    Best Wifi tethering app for the samsung captivate?

    I have a Samsung Captivate, was wondering which app would be best to tether without the network providers know? basically leaving no trace behind

    I really dont need to tether but i would prefer knowing it's there to use any of an emergency.

    Could anyone provide me a good app?

    I havent rooted the OS yet but i did install cyanogenmod 7 mod on the phone.

    Captivate doesn't support that. That app has to have a special kernel to run. Try Barnacle WiFi Tether from the market. It does the same thing.
