one issue hes working on.. when the phone locks or sleeps, the gov on the cpu sets back to on demand... he's trying to figure it out now.. glad you got it running.
Running 1.7 solid! Phone is so snappy now

dude has been working on this for hours... i followed him all day... testing until he got a working stable kernel... he's the man for realz!..this phone and its ability's are just amazing.(for what it is)
Stable at 1.9Ghz, 2679 Quadrant score first run. Pretty rediculous.
Hows the battery with it OC'd?
I'm tempted but battery is my main concern.
Far too early to tell with any accuracy. My guess is that you probably won't notice a change from stock aside from performance though. Even though the CPU is running at a higher speed its the voltages and such that really make a difference. If this phone is like the Optimus even when overclocking fairly high you use stock voltages, so you don't actually use any more battery. To some extent you could get better battery life via gaining more control over the CPU during standby times etc. The kernel being used for this does have some other tweaks built in though so time will tell how those effect the battery life. Early word is that the battery life should be slightly better if using stock CPU frequencies and just using the newer kernel.

I think that score equals many dual core results. Am I wrong?Originally Posted by digi7al ph0enix
