Please use this thread to discuss the upcoming HTC Vigor (ADR 6425LVW) smartphone for Verizon Wireless.
It is expected be released in early October with 4G LTE, and have a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 720p 4.3" HD display, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and an 8MP camera.
Software should be Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with the newer Sense UI and Beats Audio by Dr Dre.

I'm pretty sure Vigor will show up before Prime. Vigor is due in October. Nobody knows about Prime's release date.

Does anyone have any experience with products that have beats audio? Do they just allow higher output or do they run the audio through some other processing as well. I've listened to a couple of their headphones and wasn't all that impressed. But if it will put out better quality than my mp3 player I may ditch it in favor of the vigor.

I'd be shocked if there was any difference in either hardware. I'm sure the software has 'enhancements' or some such junk, but it's almost guaranteed to just be a gimmick.

"Beats Audio" is a marketing gimmick. It's associated with a certain overpriced, litigious cable seller, if that is any indicator.
If HTC were serious about audio quality, they'd be bragging about converters, op-amps, response curves, impedance, and similar words.
