I would bet money, and not a lot because I don't have a lot, that it is nothing more than a concept video.
With a holo screen and a projected key board, why would they not line them up so that it could be used like a small laptop instead of having the holo screen projecting out of one end and the key board out of the side?

The video is a farce but I had never even heard of Retina display before the keynote. Nothing about a iPhone is "off the shelf" as you can't build one. Hate apple as you may without them your android would look much more like a blackberry
