Hi all,
I recently purchased a Verizon LTE Mifi however my company has implemented a policy banning such devices at the office. However they will allow use of USB modems so my question is can I buy a Verizon LTE USB modem and swap the sim card back and forth between it and my Mifi?
Thanks.

Thanks. I'm in the same boat...corporate account. Can't make any changes.
I called Verizon support to see what they said and they said I couldn't just swap the SIM.
Do I need to tell Verizon about my Mifi? The IMEI or something?
I was just going to see if anyone has successfully made this switch and if you needed to contact Verizon about anything? I have the 4G LTE USB modem and I am thinking about purchasing a Mi-Fi from Amazon or some third party outside of Verizon. If I do this and take the SIM from the USB and put it in the MI-Fi will it work automatically?
It worked for me. No change required. Just pull the USB out of the USB modem and put it into the MI-FI
If it fits it will work, no need to contact anyone at Verizon. You can cut the sim if it's too big for the device you want to swap it in to, or get an adapter for a smaller sim into a bigger slot.
