Switching away from Palm Pre Plus, but keeping free mobile hotspot?

Hello,

Is it possible for me to buy a phone second-hand (I'm thinking something Android), and activating that phone without losing the free mobile hotspot that I got when I got my Palm Pre Plus?

If so, which Android phones have mobile hotspot?

nope it leaves with the phone but comes back if you reactivate it.

All Android phones except for the Droid Eris has mobile hotspot, but none of them are free.
