True, I was planning on doing this.

Speaking of which, if I port my Mobilicity number into Wind, I'll be considered a "new" customer, correct? That means I shouldn't have problems getting the $29 plan w/o any transfer fees?

Is the $25 BTS definitely ending tomorrow? This is what the lady at the Queen West location told me.

    Ported today from Wind.

I just liked the idea of saving $15 a month, every month. And in the final analysis, I don't do $15 of US calling and global texting a month.

Being a Wind enthusiast for a while, curious on how you compare the Mobile network to Winds?

Signal at home is similarly poor. Signal in general is poorer. Data speeds however with 2 bars at my friend's and at home seemed to work faster than with full bars at my friend's with Wind (pages seemed to pop up faster).

I will miss voicemail though, for the rare time I get a call.

Mobilicity definitely has weaker signal in most places I've been.

OF course it is! you say you have a worse signal in general and you are paying $25- no voicemail.
For $29- you would have voicemail and stay with Wind's better signal.

A year down the road he won't have to pay 45 bucks for the same thing and the reception will be getting better over the next few months in Missisauga anyway.

That and the signal is worse is general, but the internet seems to work better even with the worse signal.

Guys suffering for a while possibly a year is stupid i am sorry! especially with the track record of Mobi not improving anything.
Use the year and at the end of the year you can take some other promo available.

i don't think anything with Mobilicity in would sound catchy.

And I suffered with Wind for a year, and they never improved reception in my area from May 2010 to Sept 2011. So it's time to give Mobilicity a shot.
