I tried two Walmart's last night to see if I could find one early - no luck.

That $100 Verizon Gift Card is only if you "trade-in" you old non-smartphone.
That is a separate promotion that Verizon is doing right now.

For some reason Amazon always charges around $100 more at full retail than Verizon does. I've never quite figured out why that is.

    Costco bundle

Just got back from Costco. $299 - $20 (Instant Rebate) = $279.99 with bundle.

    Bundle included:
    - Extra battery 1735 mAh
    - Travel Charger
    - Case w/belt clip
    - Car mount
    - Desk Docking Station (charges only, no HDMI nor USB out, but has a strange headphone out that is marked with a wifi logo?)
    - Extra battery charging dock
    - Car charger
    - Screen protector

Hackensack, NJ costco only had 6, which quickly sold out. I got the 2nd.

For those who ordered from Verizon directly, you might be able to get it a bit cheaper. No Cotsco around here and I was in a rush, so I ordered it last night for $249. Saw all the deals popping up this morning at Walmart, LetsTalk, etc for $199. Was about to cancel Verizon and get it from those places, but when I went to choose my plan, some thing was not working right. Long story short, I called Verizon and told them I was going to cancel and order from another place due to price. They matched the $199 for me. With tax it came out to $216. YMMV of course but worth a shot if you ordered from them...

Howdy folks, hate to interupt the celebratory purchasing and unwrapping all of you are doing today. I have been following all this through every single page of Thread One, Two and now Three (ok, I admit that I did not read EVRY word of the pent&%# discussion, heh. Unfortunately, I just discovered that while you American types are joyous today...I am a Canadian...and apparently there is no release here. Anyone happen to hear any rumours of a Canadian release date or carrier? Enjoy your new toy!!

Got mine around 08;30 but could not connect to HoFo on the phone.
How do you turn off the notification riingtones, short of a null user ringtone. Also how do you remove locked bookmarks in the browser?
