Any other updates expected before the ICS one?

Probably not, as it seems imminent, but we never know for certain.

This release can be fast booted back to the prior builds, so it is worth doing in any event and is also easily rooted with Motofail.

The boot length time had me worried it had fried the phone. Glad I was patient and let it run its course.

So what does the baseband update mean?

You mean 905 back to 902? If so, why worth doing?

Not worth doing unless you have a problem but safe, nonetheless.

The baseband update is for the radio firmware and is intended to improve some of the data drop issues still experienced by some users of Bionic and other LTE Motos.

Whether it actually does is a somewhat open question. Most reports are neutral or positive but given the history and extremely variability of network conditions, its inconclusive at best.

Has anyone installed the 905 update and kept root, or had to re-root?

New Razr Maxx. I use "Weather Bug". In the notification area, the temp numbers are so small. Any way to enlarge them?
