    On average 8-9 Mbps down and 3-4 Mbps up. But have seen it spike to 12 down and 8 up.
    => Read my reviews for the Samsung Droid Charge, HTC ThunderBolt, and Casio G'zOne Commando.

    => VX8000 at Disney World:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

    How does that compare to the T-Bolt or Charge in your area?

    tested in store about 35 times while waiting for help. 22-30Mbps download, 7-15 upload. This was tested repeatedly, next to my droid x that was getting 1-2 download and .88 upload

    Speeds

    I'm avg 16 mbits down and 6.5 up...50ms ping from a server about 220km from where i live..
    Different test servers provide different speeds. The phone is not the only limiting factor.. Depends on the server you are testing it through as well.. When I first got the phone I was testing on the closest servers to me less than 100km..but I live in a small city.. So if you are seeing 5 or 6 mbits try a different server city a larger one.

    I get over 10 mbits down and 5 up when testing from servers on the other side of the US from me..ping =75ms though LOL

    I did a side by side test with my Thunderbolt running a leaked Gingerbread radio at the East Lansing, MI store last week. 30 Mbps down with the Bionic, 5+ up, whereas I only had 27-28 down and 3-4 up with the Thunderbolt. Speedtest.net mobile app was terrible, so I use the Xtremelabs speed test app and the Speakeasy.net browser test, both of which provided the same results. The Bionic consistently (numerous tests) proved to be a little faster, interestingly enough.
