Question Need advice to buy or not to > Samsung Galaxy S2

I'm thinking about buying a samsung galaxy S2 off ebay and wanted to know the compatible network compatibilities for this with AT&T and also is it worth buying it without LTE since AT&T will be upgrading there service soon

Is there anything I should know about this phone working on AT&T ? I've been reading some customer reviews off amazon and want to make sure here first before making a buy.

Another question is there fakes going around on this galaxy S2 ?

these are some reviews from amazon > http://www.amazon.com/review/RUSXJ67...wasThisHelpful

If you really want to stick with Android, there really isn't anything out there that's going to compete at the moment. I got one through work, and I love it. It's light, fast, and gorgeous. If you get the international version, you'll have the benefit of the physical home button, but lacking the search button.

Every GSM Galaxy S2 supports the AT&T band, especially the unlocked international versions. The only ones that don't are the carrier specific ones for T-Mobile US and CDMA ones like Sprint.

You can't really go wrong with it. Other than battery life stink it's the fastest on the market.

This phone is absolutely amazing. The weight is brilliant and screen size superb. Had absolutely no issues with it. The phone is very sleek , light and well built. Camera is excellent, screen is amazing , the speed of the phone superb ( no lagging at all) , also worth a mention is the voice recognition which actually works well.
It is one amazing piece of technology

regarding your LTE concern.. I forget which carrier that already offers LTE in the states.. but in any case, they are constricting LTE for email and internet browsing only... no LTE for bandwidth demanding stuff such as youtube, video calling, and etc.... so until LTE is truly unlimited data, I wouldn't care too much for it... also.. with the current HSDPA speeds, I get sometimes well over 1MB/s on my Galaxy S 2 on Bell's 3.5G network...do you really need more at this time? Video streaming is flaweless... and downloads are faster than my home broadband connections.. i won't be complaining any time soon...

I just bought one because I needed a replacement phone now. If I could have waited, I would have waited for CES to see what the next version would be like and when it would be coming out.

The SGS2 itself is incredibly powerful coming from an aged N97. But I personally wish the screen was a little smaller. It's hard to work the whole screen with one hand for too long. And I'm lazy like that.
