My renewal date is 11/16/2011. So, I think that is about 26 days.

Wtf they cut me off after 75mb in one day, I used 40mb the previous day. Worst part is that I'm out of town and didn't bring the Nokia e71. Can I call them from a different number and hopefully get my service turned on? Btw this was only my second day so I was only at 105 mb total, didn't tether just was browsing the Web.

less than 105mb used and service deactivated?

I just got straight talk a couple days ago and am using it on my galaxy note. Thursday I used 40mb and yesterday I used 75mb, and today around 3 in the morning they deactivated my service? Never got a text or voicemail, service just stopped working. I see people using around 100 a day, what gives?

Yeah getting booted for only 115mb would have sucked. I hear so many conflicting stories about the limits that im almost scared to use 3g/4g. I use wifi most of the time anyway but i still downloaded 3g watchdog just in case.

I have a E5 with joikuspot and use it daily with 2 laptops always average 300-400 Mb a day and never had no warnings or problems yet. Currently i am uploading my website to my server via FTP and its over 30MB and ticking right along.

To get cut off after 115 mb after 2 days is highly unusual, but not unheard of. To run 300-400 mb a day without getting cut off is just plain weird. Ironically, it's this sort of ineptitude by ST that allows us to use this loophole to begin with.

Whats your monthly usage like? How long have you been a customer? How long after you signed up did you start using that much data?

Metered/tiered data is the wave of NOW. I agree with earlier post about a capped plan. Too many "unlimited" plans have been wrecked by the greedy top one percent of data hogs who ruin it for everyone else. H20 is a prime example. One guy locally bragged to an MD about downloading fifteen gigs. IN A WEEK! When you have greedy behavior like that, the caps get dropped. That is probably why H20 went from what was "unlimited" to three then two gigs like all the other mvnos with similar plans.

Unlimited for talk/text but for data? No way. Cap it, throttle it or make it 2g only (Att mvnos, Tmobile, Simple Mobile) Why should the many suffer for the crimes of the few?

I agree.....throttling people who use over a certain amount of data would be great. Unfortunately if they gain the ability to throttle individual accounts this would most likely mean they could detect non-ST phones as well.....they would probably have the ability to see IMEI numbers at that point. I really hate it when people overkill with the amount of data they use. They will end up ruining things for the rest of us. This loophole will only last as long as certain parties(ATT & ST) allow it to. The more it's abused, the less time it will be allowed to exist. This is a prepaid network....they can shut us off at any time. All they have to do is discontinue the use of these SIMs and force us to get other phones if we want continued service from them. Or ATT could drop the agreement with ST.....no contract is indefinite.

These are cell phones folks....not your home ISP. Try to remember that.

about 3-4gb a month, ive been with them about 5mths and started using it like this a month or two in. I had one phone call from them that my usage was causing network performance issues, it was a recording. I ignored it and never slowed down my usage, no problems as of yet. If i do i just start a new number.

You get one warning usually, so that shouldn't be to big an issue.
