Curious about page plus activation

Sorry if this was already posted, but I was curious if you already have a page plus account and your phone breaks, can you get a new Verizon prepay and activate it as a replacement on your account?

...but you *could* get a new postpaid Verizon phone ... at full price $400 ... and you can still get a P+ phone at a normal price. My local Verizon store (*not* carrier-owned-retail) maintains a stock of used Verizon phone for this situation ... for Verizon postpaid customers.... typically $50.

I bought a nearly new Verizon Samsung Fascinate on Ebay for $169.00 from gadgetghost. Activated on PP with no problem and running fine.

Well thanks, but I was hoping it could be done. I took over my nephews page plus account and the phone is literally coming apart. I was hoping that I could get one from walmart and use the account right away. But I just bought a used phone on ebay so I guess I'll have to wait till it gets here. Thanks everyone.

Use a straight talk phone.
