I'm a bring your own phone ST consumer. After reading these posts, I now understand what's going on!!! I can't refill from the ST website "there are no options available for this phone at this time'', had to buy a one month card from Walmart. Today, tried to buy a 90 day from Walmart.com and transaction wouldn't go thru. Tried a couple times and even got a call from my credit card company to see if I had made the transactions, in mean time Walmart locked my Walmart.com account. So...I have requested they unlock that account. Wow!!!!

I was also blocked from buying via walmart online. I did recently have an address change but I made sure my credit card, walmart and straight talk had exactly the same address. Didn't matter, tried two credit cards and it absolutely refused to go through on line. Had to go find a store and pay tax and a e911 fee. Will definitely try on line again.

Looks like they are pushing you to do automatic refills with a credit card you register on the straight talk website.

I wonder if any of having trouble with online discount refills has to do with the Feds shutting down Liberty Reserve money laundering operation?

I was also wondering if that indirectly impacted the black market for phone refills.

I do get a 1% cash back rebate on my purchases. I dont know if it covers cellular refill cards. I guess I'd have to do 3-6 month refills if I seriously want to save some cash. Else, go to PPC or AiO once it finally goes nationwide.

Oh and most of the Straight Talk refills vanished from eBay...

AiO is available in my area but its $55/mo for 2gb. I dont see the value in that when I was paying $40/mo on ST for similar service. Or am I missing something?

    What is PPC?

Discover was giving an extra 5% cash back at walmart.com but now they have a disclaimer that it doesnt apply to refill cards. Yes, the base cash back should always work everywhere.

Seems as if the seller I bought my refill from last month was out of stock on $45 refills which may be why I received the unlimited intl plan when they refilled mine. They now show the $45 refill as in stock but it is priced at $45 so maybe straight talk put a stop to whatever discount these buyers where receiving that allowed them to sell so cheap.

what is this new feature, and how can I manipulate it in order to make myself seem superior to those around me?

They did say it was for a limited time only. So, glad I grabbed six months' worth (for 2 phones) while I could.
Your creed may be interesting, but your deeds are much more convincing.

I purchased a years worth. It's going going to be tough to pay $45.00 again.
