Well, they are in stores and they have quite a few. I picked mine up at Brookfield, WI this morning.
Price was $199, plus tax. I know the screen protectors are overpriced, but I had them put on a screen as well, in part because the retail stores are very limited for accessories and cases for this at the moment. I went to BB and they didn't have anything for the Photon/Electrify either.
I'm coming from a BB Tour, so the screen on this thing seems like going from a 17" to a 45" TV screen. There is just so much more real estate. Overall, it is a nice display (not sure what the big deal about Pentile is, looks good to me?).
Some first impressions are that it has a very snappy response time (running 2.3.4) when going through the screens.
I'm at work right now and will play with it as time permits and hopefully get some better first impressions later today or tonight.
Any questions or things that people want to know about this phone?
Was this after mail in rebate? The Web site says $199 after $100 mail in rebate. Just curious, because I would much rather just pay $199 and forget the rebate.
I am curious to see what the battery life is like from real users and not "testing". A phone designed for the more demanding power & battery requirements of 4G use that is only capable of 3G operation SHOULD have outstanding battery life. Could one of you "chosen few" who have "been Electrified" post some of your observations on the battery life when you have opportunity?
Also, does anyone know if the 4G radio is still present (and not functional) or if it has been omitted from the Electrify hardware?

The first day of "playing" (heavy usage) gathered me 13.5 hours and then it told me to connect my charger. I connected the charger and it put me at 15%.

I have a business account, so we don't have to wait for the rebate. I'm not sure if others do or not. It was $199.99 + $10.20 tax = $210.19.
Took a look at the Electrify today color me impressed! The screen was beautifuul comparable to my mesmerize screen. It was very fast and smooth comes with a lot of apps preinstalled including Asphalt 5. It was lightweigh and only a couple mm bigger than the mes. The volume rocker was textured for gripping as well as the camera shutter button. The metal and plastic finish gave it a nice feel. An intersting option was that you could lock the kickstand so it will not open. The camera was nice 8 mp. App storage was something like 3.64 gb and the user storage was around 9 gb, no sd included. Want to see how long the battery lasts, I will get this or the S2 around Christmas.
Failed the first time for me, but I think that was because I wasn't using the most updated drivers from Motorola's site. After I installed the drivers from Motorola it went through without an issue.
Unfortunately the site where the file comes from is broken this morning
The above URL will need to be edited by you manually to replace the asterisks with the worlds most popular four letter f word or you can just use this workaround shortcut http://tinyurl.com/3tyggtt
